Alex Arcoleo’s electronic music is always led by melody, not percussion, which contributes to its depth and humanity. His love of music was fuelled by a musical family, but Guildford native Alex taught himself to play piano and compose. This journey of discovery continued in his mid-teens, with a desire to move beyond the traditional keyboard and draw from various electronic and recording techniques. His influences include Bonobo and he's always looking to innovate. A musician and producer himself, Alex’s process starts traditionally, writing on piano, before transferring to a computer. Alex was featured at Audio Network’s first 'Work in Progress' event and his album Shadowtalk was one of Audio Network’s first commercial releases.
